Hello. This is my first blog. I have been featured on StormHour a while back, and Mark has been graciously showing my photographs for several years. I live on Boston's north shore (US east coast). I have the beach across the street east and about 2 miles of marsh west, so it is great for shooting sunrises and sunsets.

I call the above image 'reverse horizon'.... a somewhat rare shot. This is about 1.5 hours before sunset, and the shot is east-facing on the beach, yet it looks like just before sunrise. There is a quick-moving thunderstorm offshore, yet the sun is still high enough above to light the horizon line. Dramatic and eerie. We got about 2 inches of rain in the next 2 hours: Canon 6D Mike/Sigma 24-70 F2.8 Art.
